Sarah Busse, a resident of San Mateo, will read from her series of poems on the painter Paul Gauguin, as well as other poems about motherhood, life in the Bay Area, and the weather. Her work has been published in a variety of journals including White Pelican Review, The DMQ Review, DINER, Perihelion, and Convergence.
