Geri Doran’s book, Resin, won the 2004 Walt Whitman Award from the Academy of American Poets and will be published by LSU Press in spring 2005. Her poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming in The New Republic, The Virginia Quarterly Review, and The Atlantic Monthly. She was a 2001-2003 Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. Currently she works for the Djerassi Resident Artists Program in Woodside and lives near the beach in Pacifica.
